AMHERST, N.Y. – For the fifth consecutive year, Â鶹ɫ²¥ has been recognized as a top institution of higher education in the country, being named to the U.S. News & World Report 2023-2024 Best National Universities list. 

Board of Trustee Chair John R. Yurtchuk has committed $2 million to Â鶹ɫ²¥, the largest single gift in the institution’s history. The donation will support the President’s Excellence Fund, which ensures the university’s continued vibrancy and long-term stability.

For the sixteenth consecutive year, Â鶹ɫ²¥ has been named a College of Distinction for providing a high-quality undergraduate education that focuses on hands-on learning, strong student-teacher relationships, community involvement, and outcomes-based learning.

AMHERST, N.Y. – Â鶹ɫ²¥ signed a teach-out agreement with Medaille University on Monday afternoon, May 15, following an announcement that Medaille will cease operations effective August 31, 2023.
